E.ON Central Heating Care plans give you maintenance, repair and emergency breakdown protection for your gas boiler and central heating system offering you expert assistance when you have an unexpected central heating problem.

E.ON’s skilled engineers will provide protection for your gas boiler and central heating system. This means you don’t need to worry about trying to find a heating engineer you can trust at short notice when you have a heating breakdown.

What’s included?

Sign-up for either of these packages and you’ll benefit from your Annual Safety and Maintenance Inspection and expert help if you experience a problem with your central heating system

  • Expert advice and service from E.ON’s trained plumbers. They do not use contractors.
  • A first inspection within the first twenty-eight days to check your boiler and central heating system is working safely and efficiently.
  • An Annual Safety and Maintenance Inspection. You do not need to arrange this, as E.ON will contact you when your review is due.
  • E.ON Protection starts immediately and looks after your whole central heating system – including your boiler, flue, pump, controls (including electrical temperature controls), pipes, radiators, valves, expansion tanks and hot water cylinders.
  • In addition the comprehensive plan also includes the cost of accessing your system for repairs (e.g. to get to hidden pipework) up to £1,000.00.
  • Unlimited call-outs for breakdowns, repairs and emergencies during the year, the choice of a one-off annual payment or monthly Direct Debit,
  • Daytime, evening and weekend appointments – 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
  • Convenient 2 hour appointment slots.

Consumer Tips

  • Remember that both options also include a replacement boiler if yours cannot be repaired and is under 7 years old. In these circumstances E.ON will install a new boiler for free. As an added bonus if it is older than 7 years, they will give you a 5% discount on a new boiler.
  • Whilst E.ON will notify you when your Annual Safety and Maintenance Inspection is due, put a note in your diary to ensure that you do not miss this.
  • E.ON do not yet have full national coverage so make sure that your area is covered before you apply for this central heating and boiler care plan.
  • E.ON recognise that customers are busy people and cannot spend all day waiting for their engineer to arrive. As a solution they have configured their service to offer some flexibility on appointment times with this plan and you get 2 hour appointment slots meaning that you do not take extended periods off work to wait in.
